Grand Slam Finals:
Ann Arbor Poetry Slam. The top finishers in last month's semifinals - Matt Ernst, Matt Digger, Chris Moriarty, Mike Moriarty, and Logic - compete tonight for the 2008 Ann Arbor Grand Slam championship. The top 4 Grand Slam finishers receive cash prizes and will be the Ann Arbor team at the 2008 National Poetry Slam, held this year in Madison in August. Also, open-mike readings.

This annual festival of documentary and feature films on Jewish themes opens tonight with Making Trouble: Three Generations of Funny Jewish Women, Rachel Talbot's 2007 documentary about Molly Picon, Fanny Brice, Sophie Tucker, Joan Rivers, Wendy Wasserstein, and Gilda Radner.
