Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan

No-kill, nonprofit organization places animals of all ages into loving homes. Website links people to pets available for adoption (fees $85–$350). Free Pet Food Program offers assistance to persons needing food for their dogs and cats. Publishes an annual newsletter and hosts informational booths at public shows. Volunteers educate community citizens about animals, animal care, responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Supports compassionate, responsible care of animals.
