Guy Sanville directs the world premiere of Purple Rose founder Jeff Daniels’ comedy that combines slapstick, vaudeville, tragedy, and farce in an exuberant romp of a play that explores the pain and joy of human existence. The story concerns 2 men who live in an undefined place and time where nothing happens. One wants to remain in the safety and comfort of this environment, while the other wants to leave.
