Nov. 25 & 26 (previews) and every Fri.-Sun., Nov. 30-Dec. 16. Keith Paul Medelis directs the premiere of young Midwestern playwright Kevin Kautzman’s poetic, deliciously theatrical drama about Jane, a young woman who returns home to North Dakota for the first time in years and surprises Steph, her estranged childhood friend. As the 2 women descend into their memories, they relive the summer Jane told Steph her deepest secret—that she knows how to turn into a wolf. Cast: Meredith Deighton, Ramona Lucius, Kris Reilly.
8 p.m., Mix Performance Space, 130 W. Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti. $15 (students & seniors, $10) in advance at thenewtheatreproject.org and at the door. (Nov. 25 & 26 previews are pay what you can.) 645-9776. [map]
