Blind Pig: Danny Brown
Detroit progressive hip-hop MC known for the realism of his raps about life in Detroit presented in a style that employs complex, multiple cadences and a voice that ranges from low gravelly tones to a manic high-pitched squawk. Opening act is Kitty, a self-styled “bratwave” hip-hop MC from Daytona Beach known for her humorously abrasive raps. Her “Okay Cupid” was ranked #17 in Rolling Stone’s list of the best songs of 2012.
