Self-styled Detroit “splatter punk” quintet. Opening acts are the Ypsilanti rock ’n’ roll band Bad Indians, the Detroit postpunk hard-rock quintet Kommie Kilpatrick, and the local punk duo K9 Sniffies. [venue info]

Crazy Wisdom Tea Room: Shelley Miller

Chicago alt-folk singer-songwriter who writes darkly soulful tunes with a rootsy vibe about life just outside the lines. She has released 4 CDs, including the recent February. [venue info]

Elks Neighborhood Kitchen: FUBAR

6-piece band led by guitarist Randy Tessier and featuring vocalist Sophia Hanifi. Their repertoire is an eclectic mix of originals by Hanifi and Tessier and covers of everyone from the Everly Brothers, the Kinks, and the Yardbirds to Miles Davis and Steve Earle. 5:30- 9:30 p.m. [venue info]
