This acclaimed Minneapolis hip-hop MC is known for his resonant soul- and funk-flavored music, arrestingly expressive rapping, and ambitiously searching rhymes. Pitchfork calls him “one of the first great voices to emerge from the underground this century.” Opening acts are Homeboy Sandman, a Queens hip-hop MC known for his blend of left-field humor with dexterous word- play, and The Reminders, a Colorado Springs hip-hop duo.
