An eclectic mix of jazz, blues, R&B, Motown, and pop, including many originals, by a trio led by this local singer-guitarist.
The Firefly Club: Phil Ogilvie's Rhythm Kings
(5-8 p.m.) This local 10-piece big band is one of the few to specialize in the old-time big-band music of the late 1920s and early 1930s associated with Jelly Roll Morton and King Oliver. Arrangements by the renowned early-jazz pianist James Dapogny and tubaist Chris Smith.
The Firefly Club: Tyrannosaurus Bass
Ensemble of 4 local jazz bassists--Paul Keller, Kurt Krahnke, Jordan Shug, and David Stearns--along with a pianist and drummer TBA. $15 includes lunch. 1 p.m.

Engaging singer-songwriter-guitarist from the Great Lakes Myth Society known for his high lonesome originals.
