All ages admitted. Florida-based acoustic pop-rock trio. Opening act is Hana Pestle, a young indie rock singer-songwriter from Billings, MT, who's now based in L.A. Advance tickets: $10 ($12 at the door). 8 p.m.-midnight. [venue info]

The Circus: Company of Strangers

Ypailanti alt-country and alt-bluegrass band. [venue info]

Club Above: The Blue Rubys

Classy local almost-all-female country-rock quintet. Opening acts are Skin and Bones, a Detroit Americana duo, and another band TBA. [venue info]

Conor O'Neill's: Jerry Sprague Band

Roots-rock band led by veteran local singer-guitarist Sprague. [venue info]

Elbow Room: "Mofo Karaoke."

With "the standard karaoke playlist crap plus 2,500+ obscure and awesome songs." [venue info]

The Firefly Club: Los Gatos

Mambos and cha-chas by this local Latin jazz band led by drummer Pete Siers that specializes in the music of Cal Tjader, the late San Francisco vibes player who ignited the 1950s mambo craze. Preceded at 7 p.m. by Latin dance lessons ($5 includes cover for the band). 8-11 p.m. [venue info]
