The Toronto-based husband-and-wife country-rock duo of Luke Doucet, a folk-rock singer-songwriter known for his absorbing story songs and virtuoso guitar playing, and Melissa McLelland, a singer-songwriter whose idiosyncratic blend of roots-rock, country, blues, and chamber pop provoked one critic to dub her “a female Tom Waits.”
8 p.m., The Ark, 316 S. Main. Tickets $15 in advance at Herb David Guitar Studio and the Michigan Union Ticket Office (mutotix.com), and at the door. To charge by phone, call 763-TKTS. [map]
