Between the Kerrytown Concert House and the University Musical Society, an energized Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra and dozens of smaller ensembles, Ann Arbor's classical music calendar has an opus for every taste. This category also includes choral music and a cappella groups.

Every Mon., Sept. 10-Dec. 10. and Jan. 28-May 6. All invited to join this independent 30-member local women’s chorus to sing everything from Bach and Hungarian folk songs to madrigals and pop tunes. David Perample directs.
10 a.m.-11:30 a.m., West Side United Methodist Church, 900 S. Seventh. Free to visitors ($115 per semester dues for those who join). 665-9271. [map]
