To honor Raoul Wallenberg (B.S. Arch. ’35) on the centenary of his birth, the University of Michigan, in cooperation with the Swedish-Consulate General of Detroit, is hosting an exhibition on the life of this illustrious alumnus. Created by the Swedish Institute for the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the exhibition presents the story of Wallenberg's life including his years in Ann Arbor and the months in Budapest when he helped rescue tens of thousands of Jews during the Holocaust.Wallenberg's extraordinary moral conviction and valor are an inspiration for the University and its alumni. During the past year this exhibition has traveled to Budapest, New York, Washington DC, Moscow, Tel Aviv, Berlin, Ottawa and Toronto.
