WCC’s Gallery One is hosting an exhibit by local artists now through December 14. “Emerging Artists: Ann Arbor, Part II” features Ruth Bardenstein, Jeremy Brooks, and Katie Rubin. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday-Tuesday, 10:00am-6:00pm; Wednesday-Thursday, 10:00am-8:00pm; and Friday, 10:00am-noon. For more information, call 734-477-8512. Docent-led tour of the current exhibit of military paintings that is highlighted by West’s iconic 1776 painting, The Death of General Wolfe, which flouted the conventions of the time and became one of the most celebrated paintings in Britain. 2 p.m., UMMA, 525 S. State. Free. 764-0395. [map]
