David C. Turnley is a world renowned photographer, filmmaker, and University of Michigan Alumnus. He received the Pulitzer Prize in photography and filmmaking for his coverage of The Revolutions of 1989, including the fall of the Berlin Wall and Tiananmen Square in China. In addition, he was twice awarded the World Press Picture of the Year, the prestigious Robert Capa Award for Courage and four Overseas Press Club Awards.
