Ann Arbor School Board and District Library Elections.:Two candidates are running for one 4-year term on the 7-member nonpartisan Ann Arbor school board, and 5 unopposed candidates are running for one 2-year and four 4-year terms on the 7-member Ann Arbor District Library board. (For more information about these races, see Inside Ann Arbor, p. 11.) There are also ballot proposals to renew both the school district's operating millages on homestead and nonhomestead property and its 1-mill sinking fund tax for capital expenses. To vote in the election, you must be registered to vote in the city of Ann Arbor or in one of the surrounding townships that are included in the Ann Arbor school district.

Michelle Mountain directs the world premiere of Carey Crim's coming-of-age tale about a girl who dreams of becoming a supermodel. When her mom steals the love of her life, the girl has to navigate, alone, the difficult path of becoming an artist. Live Nation. Pioneering L.A.-based fusion ensemble, led by singer-organist Lonnie Jordan, that first gained prominence in the early 1970s as Eric Burdon's backup band. Their songs are known for their utopian racial and class politics and their music for its invigorating improvisational jams that blend jazz, rock, funk, Latin, and R&B dance idioms.
