On Wednesday, December 19th, from 5:00-7:00 PM, local artist Katherine Larson will be signing copies of her new gift book, Ann Arbor Observed at The Crown House of Gifts on Plymouth Road in the Traver Village Shopping Center.Aside from her career as an artist, book illustrator, educator, and opera singer, Larson is probably most well-known locally for painting the covers for the Ann Arbor Observer for the past 20 years.Ann Arbor Observed collects the artist's favorite paintings over the last 20 years along with stories about each of them.
