Reception on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 7 – 9 p.m.Jennie Marenghi is a local artist who received her degree in Fine Arts in 2006, graduating with honors. When not working as a Speech Pathologist for Ann Arbor Public Schools, she enjoys creating art. Her love of color and sense of playfulness show through in the works she produces. Jennie enjoys working in pastel, watercolor and mosaics. In this exhibition, she produced series of pastel paintings from her travels to Oregon, California, France, Italy, Kenya and Tunisia.Chris Woods is a native of Ann Arbor and an avid photographer. She has been taking photos since she was a child and can’t remember a time when she wasn't behind the camera. Chris has worked as a portrait photographer for 15 years and also enjoys photographing landscapes of the many places she has traveled. Presented in this exhibition are images from Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Dominica, San Francisco and Michigan. Each week, writers will bring in typed copies of their short stories, plays, poems, novels, essays, or freelance magazine articles.
