Youth Show: Washtenaw County 4-H.
Six days of farm animal competition shows and auctions, plus equestrian events, crafts, exhibits, and assorted contests from vegetable decorating to a goat milk-out. Highlights include a new “Creative Sandwich Contest” (July 25, noon), the popular “Llama Leaping” (July 25, 2 p.m.), all-ages craft activities (July 28, 9 a.m.-noon), the livestock auction (July 26, 6:30 p.m.), an archery contest (July 27, 1 p.m.), the “Animal Decorator Contest” (July 27, 1:30 p.m.), and the “Ag Olympics” (July 27, 3:30 p.m.) in which 4-H youth compete in Olympic-style games involving water, mud, and agricultural products.
