Plum Market: Bargain bread
Every evening from eight to nine o’clock, Plum Market offers one of the best unadvertised deals in town--great prices on baked goods. Most Zingerman’s goodies are half-off, and nearly all Plum bakery breads and pastries are just $1. News of the bake sale has spread by word of mouth, and now on most evenings people start queuing at a little before eight. Since Plum has new baked goods daily, the sale items have just been on the shelf since that morning. As one of the bakery staff said, it’s a great chance to try lots of different things at terrific prices.
