I appreciated that the Observer published my follow up letter to give credit where it was due. In the editing of the letter for publication because of size constraints, there was a significant omission which I need to remedy here. Senior Assistant City Attorney Kevin McDonald worked for years extensively on the HDC matter throughout the development process to ensure that all of the relevant development and contract issues were done correctly. Because of the careful attention to these matters by Mr. McDonald (and others in the City), the defense of the litigation issues was made easier. He also assisted in the litigation, along with many others.
