Fournier hair products

continued

The winner of our little contest in May was Karen Fournier. Somehow, in all the excitement over our new policy of including the previous winner's name in the new Fake Ad, we managed to get her first name wrong, and her name appeared here as Michelle Fournier. A lovely name, certainly, just not hers. So, for the record, our winner in May was Karen Fournier. Our apologies.

Last month, we received 137 entries correctly identifying the Fake Ad for Fournier hair products on page 71 of the June issue. Many Fake Adders said they welcomed our new Fake Ad identifier. A few said they couldn't wait to see their names in an ad. And then we opened this entry: "The Fake Ad for June is at the top of page 71 for Fournier Style Hair. Signed, Zbigniew Cowznofskibumsteinpastafazoola." (The entry really came from Andy Yagle. Thanks for the scare and the laugh, Andy.)

Tom Jameson was chosen as our winner. He's taking his prize to Grizzly Peak Brewing Company.

To enter this month's contest, find the Fake Ad in the July issue and follow the instructions in the box at the bottom of the Back Page.    (end of article)
