I wish to apologise to John for incorrectly identifying him as a Grass Dancer--he was a Mens Fancy Dancer in his youth. Also, my understanding of drum contests are that there are no "real" losers--everyone who is invited wins to some degree--and to clarify that the Blue Lake Drum didn't "win" in top rank as often as my memory recalled.
